The less is said the better perhaps. There is a version of this with just one guitar and a much higher/nasalier vocal that may go with me to my grave. I wrote this song the summer before starting law school, and probably just before Ports came together. I was forcing myself to use simple rhyming in a way I didn't often. I'd be embarrassed about it if I had any shame, but I try not to trade in bourgeois concepts.
